Choose your biking tour! (E-bikes available)

If you are a fan of cycling and would like to explore the city in a different way, this tour is for you. The tour starts at Baščaršija where you will meet up with your guide and pick up your bicycles and helmets. Then, you will visit the Old Town and see some of the most famous historical buildings and learn something about them. After that, we will start cycling towards the other end of town. During this ride, you will get to see most of Sarajevo’s neighborhoods. Starting from the Old Town, the architecture of this part of town is dating back to the Ottoman period, then you will encounter buildings in Austria-Hungarian style, after which you will see many buildings from socialist Yugoslavia period. The difference amongst those three predominant styles is clearly visible and noticeable as you are riding past it.

Then, we will reach Vrelo Bosne, the Spring of the Bosna river. It is a beautiful park which has many springs of the river Bosna, as well as a couple of waterfalls, located at the foothills of mountain Igman. It provides a comfortable space to relax and unwind from daily city life. After we take some rest, we will head to the Tunnel of Hope where you will get to see the sections of the tunnel still remaining, as well as the museum dedicated to the importance of the tunnel during the Sarajevo Siege. After this, we will head back to our starting point where our tour will end as well.

Let’s go for a day trip from Sarajevo and visit the astonishing Skakavac waterfall. We have a wide variety of trails waiting for us! We are heading for a whole day MTB trip to the highest waterfall in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a height of 98 meters. We will have around 10 kilometers of asphalt uphill cycling. After that, we will reach the gravel road on mountain Čavljak and cycle for another 7 kilometers on the gravel road. Road is mostly going uphill, but it has some flat and short downhill sections. But, after all that climbing, things must go down! We will get to choose between gravel road and a singletrack depending on your riding styles and wishes. After that descent, which is around 7 kilometers long, we will reach the Skakavac waterfall from the top side. However, we will need to ride for another 3 kilometers in order to get a better view from below!

At the bottom of the waterfall, we will have our picnic lunch. When we finish eating, we will be ready to put all our efforts and ride an uphill and flat section for the next 5 kilometers. That is the last climb, I promise! We are heading down an easy gravel road, and then the asphalt road is coming, heading straight to the city center. Total ride is around 32 kilometers, with 1374 meters in elevation gain. Shuttle vehicle is available to take you up the first steep part of 10 kilometers.

The mountains are calling and we must go! Follow us to the Olympic mountain Trebević and enjoy the delicious picnic lunch at the top of the mountain! We will have around 10 kilometers of cycling on an asphalt road which was a frontline during the war which happened in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992-1995. We can have a look at the Sniper Alley from above! After that, we will have 4 kilometers of gravel road and we will reach the top of the mountain. Then we will decide which one of the trails is the best option for us from here. Trails are 3-7 kilometers long.

After trails, we will head to the abandoned bobsleigh track from the 1984 Olympic Games. This is one of the few bobsleigh tracks where you can actually ride a bike! After riding down the bobsleigh track, we are again choosing between different trails. When we finish with the chosen trail, we will head down to the Sarajevo city center through narrow streets of Sarajevo. Total ride is around 25 kilometers, with 1170 meters in elevation gain. Shuttle vehicle is available to take you up the first steep part of 10 kilometers.
